re Cancel Culture at GRCH

One problem at  Grand Rapids Christian High is that there is a CANCEL CULTURE - so that once you leave you're pretty much canceled out unless you're like a chosen one to be selected for the forever culture. it's a little bit disappointing. like if you went in and walked up to the people there they say who are you ? UNLESS YOU'RE A MAJOR DONOR LIKE THE DEVOS FAMILY. Or if you stick to the community like glue - if you grew up there and continue to show up at every single event or if you're one of the janitors oddly enough and their family they really get to be on TOP of the persona gratis list. However if you leave town, you're definitely OUT as Paul Schrader found out.  ironically this phenomena works against everybody even those who are on the very top of the inside list.  if they leave they become outsiders too. it's not very conducive to creating a larger organic body. You're only IN if you stay IN so some people actually have been students there and then returned as teachers because they want to be on the inside  so badly. Ask Paul Diekema
